The Chamber's role
- Help pick a date that works with the Chamber and community calendars
- Help set the format of the event
- Invite the Board and Ambassadors at least 10 days ahead, and let City Council know
- Bring the ceremonial scissors, ribbon and camera
- Welcome you into the Chamber community and introduce dignitaries
- Post it on the Chamber website and social media
Your role
- Contact us at least 15 business days before your preferred date
- Email your high-resolution logo to kathy@carlsbad.org
- Invite customers, clients, vendors, friends and family
- Decide who cuts the ribbon and who speaks
- Notify the media
- Refreshments are optional, at your expense, and highly encouraged
